Christmas in the Scripture- The Real Reason for Christmas

Santa.  Christmas Trees. Wreaths,  Decorating.
Christmas decorations seem to pop up earlier and earlier each and every year.

And with that,  the true meaning of Christmas gets pushed aside as it becomes more and more decentralized around the birth of the Lord.
Christmas has turned into a commercialized frenzy as businesses hawk their wares in promotion so the average person can go into debt to please an unspoken requirement that every relative and person must receive a gift.

Christmas has become a breeding ground for selfishness and gain.  The focus has shifted from the birth of Jesus to one of greed and commercialism.

I hate to say that it doesn’t surprise me.

But I want to make a change in the little corner of my world to go back to the basics of what Christmas in the Scripture should be
