As creatives, we sometimes get stuck in the mud, and if not careful, it can pull us under squashing our creative pursuit and our heart to create for the glory of God.

- “Open My Eyes”
This beautiful prayer originates from Ephesians 1:18 where the Apostle Paul wants the saints eyes to be opened to see God’s greatness towards those who are believers.
What is the most common roadblock to creating? Lack of inspiration.
We may have looked at something from every angle and found nothing new to discover. That’s when we should pray and ask for the Lord for a prayer for inspiration to open our eyes so that we can see God’s beauty anew. God can reveal new ideas and possibilities that we never would have thought of on our own.
- “Remove My Doubts”
One of the biggest reasons for doubt is from lack of self esteem.
Our abilities and ideas will never be good enough becaue we are our on worst critic.
Praying a prayer asking the Lord to remove our doubts helps us to see God’s perfection and not our own imperfection. May God give us the confidence and courage we need to create.
- “Help Me to Focus”
Distractions are everywhere, and they can easily steal our time and attention away from our creative pursuits. When we pray, “Help me to focus, Lord,” we are asking God to give us the ability to stay focused and on track.

It’s easy to get stuck in analysis paralysis, but when we pray, “Give me wisdom, Lord,” we are asking God to guide us in our decision making.
