How to Use Stencils in Bible Journaling- 7 EASY ways!
Book Titles– Banners and Frames and creativity… oh my! In the example at right, I’ve used my stencils to make a banner to make a custom banner at the beginning of the Book of Psalms.
Book Summary– Get the summary of a book you have studied by adding the book’s context and summary to the beginning of your book.
Chapter Titles– Delving into more thorough study, you can use your stencils to creatively add themed chapter titles to your bible. Using the same stencil helps you see all chapter titles at a glance.
Chapter Subdivisions– breaking down your chapter studies, you can add decorative chapter subdivisions that you have created within your chapters for instant recognition.
In the same manner as mentioned above, using the same stencil helps you see all chapter subdivisions at a glance.
Key Word Symbols for Inductive Study– I love a good inductive study and using your bullet journal stencils for key word symbols is an easy way to implement tools that will help you recognize scriptures at a glance.
A globe could be used for a world, a heart for love and so forth.
Bullet Points and Lists– whether you use bullet points directly in the margins of your bible or on a post it note, having topical lists, sermon points or application notes is a great way to use your bullet journal stencils.
Page Notes– page notes can be written on your bible pages for long term reference or on post it notes if the need for your notetaking is temporary.
