Why do Christians go through Trials?
Why do Christians go through trials?
I never would have believed it had you told me this ten years ago…but he trials of life have made me a better person.
All of the heartache.
All of the grief.
All of the tears.
It’s true.
When God says He works all things together for His good, He means it.
My Mom’s death, my Dad’s death, my sister’s death, my husband’s three brain aneurysms… all have changed my life in such a deep and profound way.
could never have imagined walking through the valley of the shadow of death without Him.
Trusting God Through Trials
Here are a few things I’ve learned along the journey:
1. Life is valuable. Every single moment.
2. Relationships are the hinge upon which life turns.
Once people are gone, there is no turning back the clock to love.
Love them now.
3. Live in the moment. Speak that encouraging word.
Minister to that person that God puts on your heart. Step out of the box. Touch Hearts.
4. Get out of your comfort zone
4. Walk in Gratitude and make each breath a prayer and praise of Gratitude.
God Loves you and will use all of the pain, heartache and trials for His glory! Why do Christians go through trials? One of the reasons is to bring you closer to him… to trust him and to love him.

The Process
This faith journaling was done in my Filofax and I used the paper that came with it. I started by spraying the page with glimmer mist all over the base and let it dry. On the base layer, I experimented with some floral and butterfly ephemera and washi tape.
