We are the Hands and Feet of Jesus
My hands were on the sides of his face as he lay in his hospital bed and my thumbs were in the hollow of his sunken cheeks. He was only a shadow of his former self as he sat on death’s door. As we prayed for him, he opened his yes and and moved his head back and forth with strong effort, but the strength he once had was gone. The nurse said that he hadn’t been responsive all day and was surprised to hear that he reacted to our voice, prayers, and visit.
It’s in moments like these that everything in life becomes rearranged and our priorities become crystal clear.
The value of life becomes prioritized when pettiness gets cast aside.

We never know when those moments will be extended to us. Suddenly the Spirit speaks to your heart to minister and then the devil is there to sow seeds of doubt and discouragement to dissuade us from reaching out to others.
You Carry the Love of Jesus to Someone Who is in Need
Your carry the love of Jesus to someone who is in need.
Allow your beautiful feet to carry the gospel of good tidings.
Your hands carry the touch of love and compassion.
When you minister, you bring with you the faith to pray in His name.
God has placed each one of us in His body to fulfill a need in ministering to others.
The Lord can work through you in a way he couldn’t work through someone else. There are no big “I’s” and little “you’s”. We all have special and unique gifts that the Lord has bestowed upon us to minister through Him.
You are a part of this wonderful body of Christ! Let’s step out of our comfort zones and ask Him to use us for His glory!
Read 1 Corinthians 12:4-7 to see how you and your gifts fit into the Body of Christ!

Christ Has No Body But Yours
No Hand, No Feet on Earth but Yours.
“Christ has no body but yours. No hands, no feet on earth but yours. Yours are the eyes through which he looks compassion on this world. Yours are the hands, yours are the feet, yours are the eyes, you are his body. Christ has no body now on earth but yours.” -Teresa de Avila
