STAMPS-  

The first technique for Bible journaling in your Bible without writing in your Bible is using stamps.

Stamps are versatile and you find some beautiful ones in various sizes depending on the size of your pages of your Bible.

They add a beautiful splash of color and can be personalized for the Bible Scripture that you want to accentuate.

Adding Wordfetti is another personal touch you can add on top of your cut out.

TAGS

Tags are used in similar fashion to elements that you have stamped yourself.  Simply punch a hole into a stamp that you have cut out (cardstock is best since it’s more durable) layer elements and clip to your Bible pages.

COLLAGE 

Don’t throw away your scraps!  They can definitely be put to use in the form of micro Bible journaling collages that you can clip on to the pages of your Bible.

Collages are a combination of stamps and tags but are more of a mixed media approach where you can layer paper, lace, fabric and even sew your elements together on your sewing machine.  They are fun to put together and can even be used for gift toppers.  Keep all of your scraps and use them in a unique way to add personality to your Bible journaling.

Is Bible Journaling Disrespectful? Is Bible Journaling Wrong?

That’s something that you will have to pray about and ask the Lord for your heart and life.  There are many that will say Bible journaling is disrespectful and wrong.  Others will say the exact opposite.  I would pray and seek the Lord about it for yourself.

For me,  writing in the margins of my Bible has revolutionized my Bible study and spiritual life.
